Thoughts Never Die !!

We promise so many things, but hardly translate them in to action . The ratio between our thoughts/promises and action is quite huge. And we don’t care.

Recently, I was travelling from Bhopal to New Delhi by night train alone. I got the side upper berth . There were 2 ladies might be sisters age about 60’s or 70’s they got their berth in a row upper & middle . Both  of them were old age and quite bulky body the upper birth was inconvenient for them.
They tried hard for a change on the other side of lower berth , there was a gentleman , a senior citizen , with gray hair and beard , so, they could not dare to ask him for any favour. On the adjacent lower birth they found a a healthy middle aged person in a police uniform. One of the lady requested him…

His Name is Thackeray & He is Not a Terrorist…..!

Standard

During the hanging of Yaqub Memon people were asking “what’s the use of this?” or “What Purpose will it serve?”. Looking at the latest issue of Tehelka magazine I think hanging Yakub was completely justified. Because the way these Pinkos are shouting in pain shows that it has hurt them really bad. On one hand they are frustrated on the hanging of Afzal Guru & Yakub Memon and on the other hand they can’t digest that a “terrorist” like Bala Saheb Thackeray get so much love and respect that even at his funeral almost a million common people gathered and actually wept.

Most clinching argument of Tehelka is that Bala Saheb was a terrorist because he took pride that Hindu “boys” demolished Babri. Yes, indeed he took pride; but Tehalka needs to understand that this doesn’t make him a “terrorist”. Even famous Indologist & Researcher Koenraad Elst has expressed same views that “every Hindu is entitled to feel some pride that our boys stood up for Hindu dignity on 6th December 1992”. Now I hope Tehalka dosen’t declare K. Elst a terrorist too.

Tehelka adamantly wants to make a point that Mumbai blasts were “reaction” of Babri demolition. Funny; when it comes to Godhra riots Tehelka doesn’t endorse this action – reaction theory. Tehelka is quite fond of Quoting Shri Krishna Commission’s report against Bala Saheb. I don’t want to disrespect anyone but such commission reports are not the ultimate truths or completely unbiased. For example one commission report stated that Godhra train burning was a mere accident; need not to say that Court verdict has proven otherwise.

One argument every anti-Bala Saheb person gives is that Bala Saheb  persecuted every migrant minority. It’s ridiculous to say this because in early 90’s when Kasmiri Pandits were hounded out of their houses it was Bala Saheb who gave their children quota in Universities and colleges of Maharashtra. Where these champions of humanity were at that time? They never congratulated Bala Saheb for doing so. None of their hearts were bleeding just because Kashmiri Pandits were Hindus (worse, Brahmins).

A lot is said about Bala Saheb’s so called anti Muslim remarks/writings. It seems for Pinkos criticizing anything non-Hindu is blasphemous, but denigrating Hinduism is freedom of speech. And not just freedom of speech but it’s even encouraged when Pinkos are in power.

Under Communist government Students in West Bengal were asked to write an essay on- “ In Hindustan, there is No Place for Hindu and Hindi”. A text book for class 5th in West Bengal said “Islam and Christianity are the only religion which treated man with honour and equality.”

(Imagine if Modi government tries to write any such thing in books. Whole hell will broke loose)

When the matter of this question paper reached Supreme Court the Council of communists made so disparaging comments on Hindu caste and scriptures that Supreme Court judge was forced to say “do not abuse any caste, do not abuse the word ‘Brahmin’”. But the funniest thing about this court room drama is that it was started because of a PIL saying that NDA1 government is “Saffronizing Education”!

We never hear Tehelka or any other Pinko publication criticizing such attack on Hindus.

It was this denigration of Hinduism which Bala Saheb stood against. Communists were never able to come to terms with the facts that it’s Bala Saheb who threw them out of Mumbai and then ruled the city proudly proclaiming himself a Hindu; that howsoever they malign still people keep on loving Bala Saheb. He never cared about what “seculars” say about him and gave them a tit for tat reply in everything. It is this daredevil attitude that Pinkos can never forgive him for.

In words of Bala Saheb “I will keep on doing whatever I feel is in the interest of the Nation. I don’t care if you sue me in Court but I will keep on doing what I feel good for the country.”

I remember Tehelka’s Tarun Tejpal is accused of attempt of rape on a girl of his daughter’s age. To put in simple words, Bala Saheb doesn’t need a certificate from such people. For his countrymen he is Bala Saheb Thackeray and he is not a terrorist.

On the adjacent lower birth they found a a healthy middle aged person in a police uniform. One of the lady requested him politely for exchange of berth. But all in  vain. He kept silent with no emotion on his face.

At last one lady was struggling hard to occupy her upper berth when suddenly they heard a voice “Mrs. I can not see you on the upper berth. Please take my Berth I am going to occupy the upper one”. That was the old gentleman , glowing with the gesture of sacrifice. I saw the stout gentleman in khaki sitting pretty on lower berth. What a contrast of human nature and behavior. They thanked a lot to the gentleman who offered his lower berth to them.
They all enjoyed the night journey. Next morning we all got up and finished our morning routine. Slowly , train was moving towards New Delhi Station I noticed the gentleman on the lower berth in khaki was loudly chanting “Hanuman Chaalisa” verses in the praise of Lord Hanuman. Perhaps he forgot to realize that Lord Hanuman was  had very high respect and regards for Sitaji the symbol of Indian womanhood.

No need to be in dilemma whom to call the real devotee of  Hanumanji the person who chanted the Hanuman Chalisa very loudly or the person without any such chanting but having great honour and respect for a lady through his activities .

An open Letter From Deepika Padukone

Standard

There is only ONE sign that a woman wants to have sex and that is that she says “YES”.

The reason I write the above line is because we all know that in India we are so desperately trying to make a change in the way sections of our society think in order to move towards a happier world devoid of inequality, rape, fear and pain.

I am not naive about my own profession; it is one that requires lots of demanding things of me. A character may demand that I be clothed from head to toe or be completely naked, and it will be my choice as an actor whether or not I take either. Understand that this is a ROLE and not REAL, and it is my job to portray whatever character I choose to play convincingly.

What my concern is and I am stating it clearly so it is not misconstrued or confused with Shahrukh’s 8-pack or any other woman’s or man’s anatomy. I have spoken out against an ideology that such regressive tactics are still being employed to draw a reader’s attention at a time when we are striving for women’s equality and empowerment. In a time where women should be applauded for making headway in a male-dominated society,we blur the lines between REEL and REAL life and dilute all our efforts by making a one-year old back sliding piece of news a headline. Digging out an old article and headlining it “OMG: Deepika’s Cleavage Show!” to attract readers is using the power of influence to proliferate recessive thought.
When an actresses inner wear decides to do a “peek-a-boo”,she most definitely did not step out with the intention to do so.So instead of zooming in,circling it and pointing arrows at it,why don’t we give her some ‘respect’ and let it go instead of making it ‘headlines’!? Are we not human?Yes we marvel, envy and drool over a male actors 8pack abs in a film, but do we zoom in on the mans ‘crotch’ when he makes a public appearance and make that ‘cheap headlines’??!!

I have no issue celebrating my body and I have never shied away from anything on-screen to portray a character. In fact my next character portrayed is a bar dancer (sorry Farah for the spoiler!) who titillates men as a means to support her livelihood. My issue is you propagating the objectification of a REAL person, and not a character being played. Sure, dissect my characters if you wish-if it is of so much interest then discuss the character’s cup size and leg length if it is relevant to making the role convincing. All I am asking for is respect as a woman off-screen.

It is not about breasts, penises,or any other body part being reported. It is a matter of context and how out-of-context the reportage is just to sell a headline. And more so during a time in dire need of an attitude shift towards women.

For me this topic ends here.Everyone is entitled to an opinion.I have little interest to take this further as it might get more attention than it deserves and might be further misconstrued and twisted to sell more undeserved headlines.

Having said that, please may we show love, dignity and respect to each other.

Live well, laugh often and love much.

Apple iPhone 6 only marginally faster than iPhone 5s: Report

Standard

The all-new A8 chip with an M8 coprocessor in the Apple iPhone 6 might only be a slight upgrade from the A7 chip and M7 coprocessor on the iPhone 5s, if a benchmark test by Rightware is to be believed. The benchmark, which focuses only on the GPU or the graphical performance of the tested phones shows that the iPhone 6 is only slightly faster with a score of 21,204 compared to the 20,253 score of the iPhone 5s, which is less than 1,000 points behind.

The phone that tops the list with the fastest GPU performance is the Nokia Lumia 1520, which is powered by a 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 graphics. The iPhone 6 ranks 17th – below flagships from other manufacturers such as the Sony Xperia Z3, LG Nexus 5 and the Lenovo Vibe Z.

iphone6_screen-5

While specs aren’t everything, it’s worth noting that Apple claimed that the GPU of the A8 chip found in the iPhone 6 runs 50 percent faster than the A7 equivalent found in the iPhone 5S. The Rightware report contradicts this claim. The biggest upgrade in the iPhone was with the iPhone 5s that shows a considerable leap in GPU performance compared to the iPhone 5.

In real use, though, you are unlikely to notice the difference in the performance even when playing graphics-heavy apps and games. Also, one of the many reasons users prefer Apple iPhones is because of the well-optimised OS that makes it pretty nippy to use. It’s important to remember that the Rightwave report only focuses on the GPU performance and ignores the overall system.

Who says hostel life isn’t fun?

Standard

For most people college life is the most cherished part of their life , especially if you are in a hostel. The greatest thing about being in a hostel is that you can do whatever crazy thing your mind wants you to do and have your friends to support you! Its been a October  till now since i joined my college and we are all now an integral part of our college. Its our lifestyle.

1

The environment here is always lively and you’ll always find some activity going on, and this continues till not earlier than 2 in the morning. I was never a night bug before but things have changed ever since. You can always choose to hang out in others room, play cricket, go out to have a sip of coffee or a midnight snack( at Bikaner, Mother Dairy or night canteen we have three choices), play computer games on lan, download movies, chat online or just chill in your room listening to music or reading a novel…. OR you can….STUDY.
Except the day before an exam studying on regular days is usually considered taboo. If your seen studying too much you’ll be tagged as geek or nerd. Some people escape into the study room only to be assaulted later.

Life in a hostel is always associated with many crazy moments. It’s just need for fun and excitement that drives us all. Being in a hostel helps you to be yourself better and link your life with that of your friends. It’s almost like a second home.

Being in a hostel also means choosing the right group to hang out with. Its easy for one to fall into bad company and screw up his life.  Once you have good friends its as good as saying your college life will be the most memorable part of your life.
